Rapid Fire Theatre presents

The keynote your people don’t just sit through.

An interactive improv session that builds the confidence, connection and listening your teams run on.

What it is

Professional development using the skills of improv.

Improv is more than comedy.

Underneath the laughs, improv trains the social muscles that good teams rely on: listening closely, building on other people’s ideas, staying steady when plans change, and trusting the people beside you.

The Interactive Keynote puts those muscles to work. Your group doesn’t sit back and watch; they practise together. Experienced Rapid Fire Theatre facilitators guide a session that feels playful, supportive and surprisingly focused.

How a session runs

Here’s how it works

Before your event, we talk with you about your group, your event theme and what you want people to take away. Then we build the session to fit.

  1. Step 1

    Welcome

We set a relaxed, friendly tone and explain how the session works, so everyone knows what to expect.

  2. Step 2

    Hands-on exercises

Short, guided practice in pairs and small groups, each part tied to a theme you chose. The energy builds and the pressure stays low.

  3. Step 3

    Debrief

We step back and talk about what people noticed, and how it connects to the way they work every day.

  4. Step 4

    Takeaways

Your group leaves with a few practical habits to bring back to the office, the classroom or the next meeting.

Everyone takes part. No one is put on the spot.

The work happens in pairs and small groups, so no one is forced into the spotlight. Quieter people and introverts feel just as safe as the extroverts.

FAQ

Questions planners ask

Do people have to perform?

Everyone takes part, but no one is forced into the spotlight. Most of the session happens in pairs and small groups, so nobody is put on the spot in front of the room. Introverts feel safe here, and that’s by design.

How long is a session?

Anywhere from 30 minutes to a half day. We’ll shape it to whatever works best for your event.

How big can the group be?

We shape the format to your numbers, from a single team of [10] to a conference room of [300+]. Tell us how many people you expect and we’ll suggest the best setup.

What do you need for the room and AV?

Open floor space where people can stand and move around, with chairs that can be pushed to the side. For larger groups, a wireless microphone and a basic sound system. A projector for slides is great but not necessary. We’ll confirm the details with you before the day.

Do you travel?

Yes. We’re based in Edmonton and travel to events across Alberta and beyond. Travel is included in your quote.

Can it be tailored to our event theme?

Yes, and we recommend it. Every session is tailored. Before your event, we’ll talk about your group, your theme and what you want people to take away, then build the session around it.
